True Labor versus. False Labor "How to Tell if It's the Real Thing

Did you know the greatest difference between true labor and a false one? How do you know which one you are having? And how does one know it is the "real thing"?

Well, to be wonderfully honest about it, lots of ladies can't truly tell the difference between the 2, regardless of whether they'd given birth before. False labor can be such a pain "it can end up in restless nights and make you feel drained, cantankerous and restless.

Some moms-to-be even find a way to get to the surgery after experiencing signs of work only to be despatched back home. Hey, you guessed it right "it is simply false labor. You can learn the way to deal with abdominal pains during pregnancy.

Therefore how can you tell if it is the real deal? How does one know that you are actually about to give birth and not just experiencing false labor all over again? You'll know if you are experiencing true labor when you observe the following signs:

- Your contractions come at regular intervals. In true labor, contractions sometimes come frequently and tend to get longer, more frequent and more intensified over a period. If you are experiencing contractions each 5 or 10 minutes with every one lasting for approximately 30 to 70 seconds, then you may be certain that it's the real deal. In false labor, your contractions will remain irregular and are generally a lot weaker.
- Your contractions don't change with movement. If you are experiencing true labor, the contractions will continue even if you keep changing positions. This is not the case in false labor.
- You're feeling the agony beginning from your lower back and all through your stomach. In false labor, the pain is just concentrated in the lower stomach and/or in the pelvic area.
- You have had a "bloody show". As you get nearer to giving birth, you can pass your mucus plug and this could come out as a blood-streaked lump or vaginal discharge over a matter of days.
- Your water breaks. Make no mistakes about it, you are about to give birth when your water breaks!

Now that you understand how to tell true work from false labor, you'll surely save yourself from needless worrying. Therefore just concentrate on taking good care of yourself. Of course , you'll know when the time is right!
